I decided to take another look at the as-prepared CVD nanotube sample (carbon disc mounted sample from previous posts), and get a better idea of the diameters of the nanotubes in the sample. Here are a pair of fairly straight individual CNTs, at 45,000x magnification in the Hitachi S-4700 SEM.
