non-existence

In Satipatthana Sutta it is said that a monk throws away the body like a butcher cuts a

piece of meat.

In that context, Hridaya Sutra confirms to it that in emptiness there is no form, nor

feeling, nor perception, nor impulse, nor consciousness;

No eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, mind; No forms, sounds, smells, tastes, touchables or

objects of mind;

No sight-organ element, and so forth, until we come to: No mind-consciousness element;

There is no ignorance, no extinction of ignorance, and so forth, until we come to: there is

no decay and death, no extinction of decay and death. There is no suffering, no origination,

no stopping, no path.

There is no cognition, no attainment and non-attainment.

So emptiness is not the non-reality or non-existence. Emptiness is the non-existence of

functions such as the shape, material etc. percieved by the mind.

The non-emptiness of the mind due to sense objects leads it to it's non-emptiness.

Thus, like it is said that God remains everywhere, like a object when percieved by the

senses leads it to it's compound object, and when the object is broken down, still the

matter remains the same, therefore it can be realised that emptiness is everything, like a

object when broken it looses it functions but still remains the same.

Likewise, the emptiness of mind leads to the Hridaya Sutra.

The mind can also be applied to as an object-
The senses gives us experiences and the mind also gives us experiences such as moods,

thoughts, feelings, emotions etc. The self is detached from all these things as is percieved

by us the deep sleep state.

The self is independent and is itself a product of mind.
